The artist was born on November 26 1987 on the 26th of November, 1986 in Santa Monica California in the United States of America. The singer is the sole child of Vincenzo Barba. At the age of six, her family moved to Point Pleasant New Jersey. In terms of her education, she completed her studies at Red Bank Catholic High School in New Jersey. Following her graduation of Catholic University with a Bachelor's in Architecture She continued to pursue her studies at the college. The violin was first played when she was four years old, and she was known by the name Violin Girl. Because of her talent the violinist was referred to by that name. She also worked as instrumental teacher to the kids in the region. She sang Free from 1976 in the auditions for America Idol's 6th season at age 19.
