Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was 14. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her amateur debut at age 18, at WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd built on this victory and began a 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in each fight. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and defeated her via unanimous decision to put an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut in professional boxing. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the the first round via TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen go from Bantamweight to her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used her superior wrestler skills to knock down McGill and ended her via third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) as an "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd did not make the weight. Aspen, however, defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Her UFC debut came on UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina with the ground and pound strategy which resulted in an TKO 2nd round win. She repeated her dominance and picked up a more stunning victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the opening round. The winner also got the reward for her performance on the night. Her first major fight came with her next bout in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd took home by a unanimous decision following some great exchanges between the two fighters, was awarded her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her winning streak. In the third round of UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In her recent fight for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. Her loss was a unanimous one.
